The Classroom Of The Future? Or Just The Imagination?
from the seems-a-bit-complex dept
Wired has an article about a prototype classroom of the future that certainly looks funky and cool, but there’s no real info on whether or not it helps children learn better – or just looks funky and cool. The article also points out that even if it really was a better classroom, there’s no way schools would pay for such a thing. I also wonder about the circular nature of the room in the prototype. While I’m sure it can be designed with other shapes, I would imagine that circular classrooms aren’t the most efficient when you need to build an entire building of ciruclar rooms.
