Judges Protest Internet Monitoring
from the this-could-get-interesting dept
Usually, if you’re an employee who’s being monitored on the internet, you don’t have much recourse. However, if you’re a federal judge you can apparently freak out and order the monitoring software to be removed. The judges of the 9th Circuit have ordered the monitoring software off of their computers and have said that it’s probably illegal. This brings up all sorts of weird issues, but it’s going to be a fun story to follow. I wonder how any company can get away with still monitoring it after a bunch of judges have said it’s illegal – even if it’s not during a case.
