Cubans On The Internet

from the getting-there-slowly dept

An interesting look at how Cuba is accessing the internet. “Very slowly” would be the summary. They’re starting to offer internet cafes (without the cafe part) for some people. But, they’re small, expensive, and only let you surf an extremely small number of sites. There is also the “internet underground” where a very few people who have internet access at work or at home then use that to offer others access.
