As if advertising isn’t sneaky enough already, now it seems that neuroscientists are getting into the picture trying to figure out exactly why advertisements make people want to buy stuff. They suggest that it might not be for the most obvious reasons – and that marketers have been accidentally pushing all the right neurological buttons for a while now. However, as the scientists study this area in more detail, expect more scientifically engineered advertising to sneak into your life.
