Fritz's Hit List
from the gotta-watch-out-for-those-singing-fish-pirates dept
There goes Ed Felten, Princeton professor, making trouble again for the entertainment industry. While they’re still working with various politicians to pass ridiculous laws to “protect” their content, Felten is actually wondering what those laws will do to the rights that consumers thought they had. His latest effort is Fritz’s Hit List, which is a list of devices (such as the singing mechanical fish and Barbie’s cash register) that will require built in copy protection if Fritz “Hollywood Pays My Salary” Holling’s CBDTPA bill goes through.

Maybe this bill isn't so bad after all...
That singing fish drives me up the wall. 🙂
