Thumbs Down On Mobile Messaging

from the problems,-problems dept

A while back we had an article about how thumbs were “the new fingers” for kids since they were so used to doing mobile messaging on phone keypads using their thumbs. Doctors are warning that they’re seeing many more thumb problems where texting “addicts” have strained their thumbs with repeated typing. Where are the ergonomic mobile phone keypads? In the meantime, though, they suggest: “To keep your thumbs healthy, the best way is to write less messages and do more physical exercise.”
