Judge Tells MPAA To Slow Down A Bit With Lawsuits
from the not-so-fast,-there dept
As the MPAA blindly follows the RIAA into lawsuits (even as it’s been shown that the RIAA’s lawsuits haven’t helped at all), they’re following the complete RIAA playbook, including filing a bunch of unrelated cases on the same claim. A judge took one look at that and couldn’t understand why the MPAA should be able to lump together all these unrelated claims and is putting a halt to this “bulldozer” approach, which he suggests is “improper.” Instead, he says they should file a single lawsuit against a single person.
