Mobile Spam Clogging Up Nextel

Nextel customers are seeing delays in their SMS messages caused by an overwhelming burden of SPAM. Delays of two hours are currently normal, and a Nextel spokesperson says they are working on solutions, but have yet to identify the source of the SPAM. They are increasing system capacity, as well as installing new filters and software to try to tame the beast. Looks like SMS SPAM has truly arrived to the USA.
