The Industry Standard has an interesting piece on telco web sites. They argue that telcos have the infrastructure, expertise and products that would do well on the web. Yet, many telco web sites are nothing more than brouchures. This isn’t really all that surprising. Telcos don’t have a great history of taking advantage of new technolgies. Can you say I-S-D-N or D-S-L?
