Zango Tries To Reinvent Itself (Again); Lays Off A Bunch Of Employees

If you’ve heard of the company Zango, it’s probably for bad reasons. Zango is a company that was created when some separate adware firms merged and took a new name. The company kept insisting that it had reformed and wasn’t using surreptitious installs any more — but every time it said that, it didn’t take long to find evidence proving that wrong. This happened time after time after time after time after time. Many of these happened after the FTC got the company to agree to stop these practices.
Well, now the company is trying to reinvent itself yet again — claiming that it’s going to focus on the “casual gaming” market — and due to this, it’s laying off 68 people. One would hope that these layoffs are for the folks responsible for building the malware part of their business. Of course, it was just a few weeks ago that security researcher Ben Edelman was demonstrating more problems with Zango’s new business model.

Working as a computer technician I can say I won’t be taking a liking to Zango until my customers stop coming in infected with their malware.

HAHA “”casual gaming” market” so they are going for those who have next to no real computer knowledge. What a great way to say we are aiming for those who will not have an idea that we have extra crap installing with our cheap games.

I read a lot about this Mafia-Company.
I hate Companies who does not care how much damage they do, just to make money. I call this Companies Internet-Terrorists. I think that all Countries in the World should make laws against Cockroaches like this. As long as these Gangsters can hide, they will do it again and again.
This Gangsters are the same as phaedophiles. They tryto get innocent people for their dirty work. The most Victims of them are for sure children who have not so much knowledge as Adults about the bad Internetworld, and who have not the same Sence of danger as adults.
To ZANGO if you read it: You can sue me now. I will be happy to make this then public around the world. Yes, I compare your company with phaedophiles!!!
