Former Intel Employee Shut Down Machines After Being Fired

I’m not sure what this guy was thinking. He got fired from Intel, and they took his computer away from him. They forgot, however, that he could log in from home, which he did, and then started deleting files from an automated work process, causing certain machines to stop. The whole incident cost Intel about $20,000, and now that employee has pleaded guilty to computer fraud. Do people who do things like this think they won’t get caught?
