DailyDirt: We Think Recommending Links Makes The Internet Better

from the urls-we-dig-up dept

Back in the early days of the internet, people would recommend links on their homepages and build rudimentary indexes of cool links. It was cool, and it made it fun to surf the web. A couple decades later, we have a few more ways to do that… using tweets, status updates, bookmark services, etc — but one of our favorite ways to find fascinating URLs is StumbleUpon. And since lots of folks who find their way here also seem to like StumbleUpon, we’ve teamed up with them to recommend even more interesting links in our DailyDirt posts. So, in addition to the regular quick links we usually point out here, we’re adding a link for you to Stumble Upon other interesting sites. Following that link will lead you to a variety of cool websites, and the click will also help to promote Techdirt among StumbleUpon’s community. So, without further ado, here are some interesting tech developments.

By the way, StumbleUpon can recommend some good Techdirt articles, too.
