DailyDirt: Ancient Food & Modern Food

from the urls-we-dig-up dept

Food has changed a lot over the last few decades. There’s a lot more stuff like high fructose corn syrup in the food we eat, and formerly obscure techniques like sous-vide cooking are becoming more well-known. Here are a few quick links on some modern foods.

By the way, StumbleUpon can also recommend some good Techdirt articles, too.

Re: Patents anyone?

So, when will we start seeing food preparation patents? I can just see it now – “A means and device for the manufacture and preparation of ratatouille”…

So we’ve gone from patents that state ‘Perform certain action – With a compter’ to ‘Over the Internet’ and ‘With a mobile phone’ to… ‘With a rat’?

Beer is the new wine. For those who are uneducated, there are many, many types/ flavors of beer. Most people would be truly surprised by what is available if they took the time to find out. Pairing food and beer is a great opportunity for a party and most people are shocked by the great flavors.

BTW- For those who think Budweiser is beer, I piss out Budweiser after drinking real beer.*

*Disclaimer; I brew beer at home.
