DailyDirt: Conducting Electricity In Unlikely Ways

from the urls-we-dig-up dept

Human history was once defined by advances in materials, going from the Stone Age to the Bronze Age to the Age of Steel. Material science could still revolutionize society, but the advances would have to be much more impressive — like creating a room-temperature superconductor (or transparent aluminum). Here are just a few curious developments in the field of material science.

They have, and continue to revolutionize society, from wood, stone, bronze, steel you now have advanced steals like Titanium, and advanced materials like Kevlar, also nylons, not to mention semiconductors that are also Materials.

carbon fibre and Kevlar are two significant ones, as is titanium, without which we would not have jet aircraft, and most would agree jets have revolutionized society.

Plastics is an area of great advancement from the days of Bakelite.

Ultraconductors

Polymer Ultraconductors are the equivalent of a room temperature superconductor.

They conduct better than 100,000 times as well as silver, gold or copper.

Only thin films exist so far, but wire is next.

See http://www.chavaenergy.com look under Learn for Ultraconductors.

Chronicles of Mark Goldes, the Perpetual Scam Machine

1976: Goldes seeks investors with fraudulent claims to have developed a production-ready wind-propelled, wind-rechargeable motorcycle that can reach 60 mph:

1998: Goldes successfully defrauds taxpayers of over four hundred thousand dollars by swindling the witless US Air Force with his “room temperature superconductor” scam.

2005: Goldes seeks investors with fraudulent claims that his company, MPI, is developing “Magnetic Power Modules”:

2008: Goldes seeks investors with fraudulent claims that “MPI is also developing breakthrough magnetic energy technologies including POWERGENIE (Power Generation of Electricity by Nondestructive Interference of Energy).” Goldes claims to have “run an electric car for more than 4,800 miles with no need to plug-in.” According to Goldes, “[MPI] Revenues from licenses and Joint Ventures are conservatively projected to exceed $1 billion annually by 2012.”

2009: Goldes seeks investors with fraudulent claims that his latest scamporation, Chava Energy, “has been developing enhanced theoretical and practical paths that lead towards commercialization of energy conversion systems that utilize hydrinos.” He now claims to be “developing a Self Powered Internal Combustion Engine ? SPICE(tm) powered by hydrinos.”
