DSL Adoption Slows
from the because-DSL-companies-suck dept
So is it that big of a surprise that DSL adoption rates are slowing compared to cable modems? While there are plenty of arguments over which is the better technology, companies involved with DSL have done an awful job promoting it – and have such a tremendous reputation for screwing things up that I can’t see why anyone would bother trying to get a DSL line any more.

Maybe after Excite@Home goes down the tubes, the picture will look a little different. If they make a mess for current cable modem customers (like me), then maybe DSL won’t look so bad in comparison. Stay tuned.

More like it’ll become which is the lesser evil of the two!
