Somewhat surprised that anyone would hire him, let alone an internet company after he proved that he completely missed the internet boat, but I’m sure his PR value is still huge: former Compaq CEO Eckhard Pfeiffer, who was ousted from Compaq earlier this year, lands in the chairman spot at Intershop.
