Expanding Automatic Toll Services

Apparently, in Massachusetts they’re considering allowing the “Fast Lane” automatic toll payers to use the devices to pay for gas and food as well. I think this is a good idea, in general. However, there are some complaints about privacy issues, saying that the government will now have too much information on you. While I’m normally something of a privacy freak, I think this is blown out of proportion. If you’re really worried about it, then don’t use the devices. Cash still works.
