the specs say “USB Output: 5V 2.4A Max” per port so let me call bullshit on either the 60w rating or the 2.4A

5V x 2.4A = 12W
12W x 10 ports would mean 120 watts… but this thing says it can barely supply half of it.

if you try to use all 10 ports for their maximum power spec, you have a very nice camp fire in your hands…. which is why they say they use “fireproof” ABS+PC as housing. ABS+PC is not exactly fireproof though… it’s fire-resistant, yes, but not fireproof.

Going back to the quoted power (and hoping it was measured properly at 100% load), 60W / 10 ports = 6W per port max if you use all 10 ports.
6W / 5V = 1.2 Amp maximum safe load with 10 ports used. Go above that with 10 ports used and you have guaranteed fireworks (and hope your insurance covers fire damage)
