The Trainz series always looked interesting, but it never seemed like it had much content in my area of interest; The 1880s American west. It always seemed like it was more focused on modern routes, European trains and diesel and electric locomotives.
Also, is this DRM free, or does it require online activation? The description doesn’t say.

Q. Will TRS19 require Internet Access?
A. Yes. TRS19 requires an Internet connection to be authorised to your MyTrainz account and then to access many features. It will operate offline, but requires an Internet connection on a regular basis (every month or so).

So it comes with a digital leash attached. Instant pass from me. I’ll never pay money for software that requires the company’s permission to operate.
You expect pirates to pay $20 for software that costs nothing?
Wrong site. This is Techdirt.
Don’t be fooled by the name, this is a 3 year old program, and there’s allegedly a newer, much improved version being released “shortly”. This offer IS about half off what the current “price” of the program is from the developer, YMMV…
